EO Independent Trustee

A strong advocate of the Employee Ownership model, we have specific experience in supporting businesses as they embark on their EO journey, helping to embed the EO culture. 

Acting as an Independent Trustee our role has principally been to:

-   Provide leadership in developing the aims and objectives of an Employee Owned Trust.

-   Assist the various stakeholders through the transition to becoming Employee Owned.

-   Help ensure the company is run in the best interest of the employees, and alongside this help to develop and support appropriate employee engagement channels.

-   Advise, support and guide fellow trustees, and in particular help mentor and coach employee trustees on their role.

-   Review business and financial performance, challenging the operating board where appropriate.

Overall our background and experience allows us to contribute to discussions from a position of neutrality, whilst bringing expertise and knowledge of other business models, cultures and organisations (on a confidential basis) to the benefit of the trust and fellow trustees.
